Happy Christmas!

I hope everyone is enjoying their holiday with their loved ones, I surprisingly enjoyed my night with mine. During this time of year I cannot help but to wonder what my life could have been like if my dad hadn't passed. I think that the meaning of this commercialized holiday would have been something far different if he were around, and more distant family would be included in the celebration. I long for my large, loving family and some genuine holiday cheer.

On a lighter note, tonight my family and I spent the night eating my mother's homemade fettucini alfredo (my father's favorite) and browsing neighborhoods across town for the best christmas lights.

But now it is time for rest, SANTAS ON THE WAY!

Today, like many others I spent at work. Unlike many others, after work I scooped up my friends Kristin and we went to Katherine and Sara's house where music was sung, nails were painted and where we simply enjoyed one another's company.

My dear friend Sarah and I constantly ride bikes on Wrightsville Beach in search of interesting places, for some reason we always wind up in the same locations, but nevertheless it is just as breathtaking as any time before.

Our venture ended with some light rain, and movies.. I don't hate it.
